They were a secretive priestly class of the Germanic people. Druids operated in secret, wealthy and wise men that stood behind those that ruled.... like King Author and Merlin or were the men that ruled like Constantine. You were not born a Druid, you apprenticed to be a Druid you had to be selected. You would be given the secrets of Astronomy , Alquemy, and History and be part of this secret priestly class. Not only did they have these secrets, but they traveled and knew politics from Mesopotamia to England and Norway to Russia. The population north of the Mediterranean was actually not as Barbaric as told to us by the Greeks and Romans By the time of Christ the Maji of the Zorastorians and the Druids of the North are the same separated only by communication and distance.
