Janet - First emails
I looked over the website and it's an interesting concept. It appears to me, to be a local, "community" web-based kind of yellow pages?

I always get excited about land, it looks like the lake divides the
property and the power lines are a big negative. I know of some land
that sold for $3,500 not far south from there. I would guess it will go
for 4k per/ac it would be good to be at the auction.
I like the name "exchange haus" and the Buy - Trade - Store - Sell -
Consign
I decided over the weekend to change everything around. I will no
longer promote the software or even talk about it. I will focus on the
commerce site, the Liberty Road location and the community sites. I
found its pointless to promote free open source software, or at least
not profitable.
I will set up an account at the douglas site for you to see what these
sites can do. I will make your name "Janet" and the password "newsite"
you can change all that later if you like. I will send this email via
the sites messages, this will keep our ideas on a single thread where we
can see how they evolve.

Your account is not the free account, this has added features as a
commercial account. I was thinking of charging $100.00/year for this,
but people have told me to charge $500.00 since it not only gives you
great business tools but also participation rights in any income we
make. In order to get participants at first I though we should give a
few away for free.
These sites are marketing tools to drive business back to the
e-commerce site and Liberty road. They are also good tools for the local
community, its like Facebook on steroids. The plan is to sell commercial
accounts on the sites that give you control of the data as well as the
site. I have a long way to go with improving the software and making the
sites look more appealing.
