It is a strange situation to find myself preaching to a Church, but here goes. There is no better tool today for evangelical work than the Internet, today, the message has a powerful messenger. Many times we can find ourselves demonizing technology. We can think of the Amish and how they tend to reject technology. Or, we see danger in the freedom the Internet can bring to us. Keep the kids off the internet ! That is true only if they go to the wrong site. Technology can be both good and bad for us, few of us complain when medical advances help a sick child become better. I think think the web is exactly the tool we need to build a strong congregation and the best way to keep young minds on the right path and away from danger. Make your Church site the center of activity, and the central collaboration tool between members. Christianity is so much about community and these new web technologies can do so much to forward the unity of a congregation. I ask that you permit me to show you the ways you can use this technology to bring your community together. To inform and educate your congregation, and give them a point of contact that is yours and not Facebook. You can build a strong congregation with these tools, you will give to the young people of your Church the ability to show others that Christianity is as timely and modern as the rest of the world they see.
