Technology has advanced quickly in the past few years.
Look specifically at what we call open source technology, notice that it is free, far superior, and has a life of it's own. Open source is what created applications like Facebook and Google and these are huge databases. In the larger picture and you see open source building an accounting system, and a state of the art data management tool.
There is enormous value to this software, but more valuable is the open source paradigm that created it. Metroecho and Libertyhaus are concepts designed around the theoretical applications of this technology and how to best put them into practice.
In my enthusiasm for the technology and created concept, after concept. But, I had done this alone sitting in my office and the point is collaboration. In 2013 I began a business, Libertyhaus, where I had hoped to place some of the theory into reality.
Libertyhaus was a business that would operate using the open source paradigm. A business you could run in your spare time, open for anyone to join in managing what it does. Similar to a video game, you can play with other players online with the exception that this is real.
Challenges were real, economics were real, and competitors were real, and you could participate from your living room... so, what happened?
With the advent of server based wiki, and social media it is possible to crowd source the management of most all dynamic processes. A wiki is a web application, that allows collaborative modification, extension, or deletion of its content and structure.
It was the wiki that created open source as it created a way for people to collaborate online to build free software. Open source is a license that places content in the public domain, and permits open collaboration by it's users. This wiki open structure can be used to operate open democratic processes. A corporation, or government that is operated by a wiki, an open system where investors can have a hands on investment role.
A free market democracy as a form of management, no rules other than it is open and free.
So, please help, we are cash strapped!
