A strange possibility

DRAFT

It appears if you take the time to look closely at the related histories during the time of Christ, the story we are commonly told would look implausible. A new story emerges from the following examination, a story that is even more elegant and significant.

A new understanding of the word of Christ and a new story of our reality emerges. You will fine that specific themes within the word of Christ have new and very significant meanings.

Look first at the following facts of history you may not know ...

1. All real religions at the time of Christ were secretive, or occult, they were ancient cults, guardians of knowledge. It was well known  that knowledge was and is power and should not be in just anyone's hands. Plato's allegory of the cave demonstrates that it was also understood that peoples reality was controlled by belief.

2. Moses takes thousands of slaves away from the Pharaoh, they wander for 40 years and they settle next to Egypt. Yet the bible never speaks of wars between the Israelites and the Egyptians. Would the Pharaoh not want to go get his slaves back?

3. During all history when invaders come toward Egypt its the Israelites that get the brunt of the wars.

4. The most important thing that occurs at the time of Christ is that the Pharaoh, the high priest and God Queen of Egypt kills herself and is replaced by Roman rule.

5. The closest historical fact there is to calendar  year one is when Augustus Caesar declares himself the head of the roman priesthood.

6. Egypt is the grain basket of the Mediterranean its what has fed the Roman empire. Also, the most culturally advanced society of the time a union between the Greek thought and Egyptian knowledge had merged into one culture for 330 years.

7. The high priests, God, Pharaoh,  of the Egyptian people had been Greek Macedonians since Alexander the Great 330 years before Jesus Christ.

8. There was a child born between Julius Caesar and the Pharos  Cleopatra. This child would in fact be the son of God. This young boy goes missing when he is 13. He is either dead as the Romans say or taken to India as the Egyptian Pharaoh had ordered.

10. In Genesis after God creates man in his own image and finishes all of existence. Then on the seventh day he rests .. the he says... notices that there is a problem ...  "and there was not a man to till the ground. "  and now he makes a different kind of man " man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul" ... and gave him a garden to work in.

11. The Egyptian story of creation is virtually identical to the one in Genesis

There is a lot of evidence that our history, our beliefs have been mostly fabricated. A fabrication created with a purpose. The force that created this lie, has been against the truth, and that has promulgated our ignorance and is the same force that rails against Jesus Christ.

It is an outrageous statement, that our beliefs would be a fabrication. Yet, you be the judge. Look at the following information with an open mind, compare it to your experience of human nature and use your conscience to understand it.

Only the truth could call the true meaning of the word of Christ as it was intended and only the truth could represent our belief in God. Our sense of the universe, our sense of God demands that good come of our existence. What we consider to be good must only found within what we consider to be truth. In other words our concept of what is good, what is God and the truth are one and the same.

This is an attempt to outline this information in a manner that is understandable.  The story will be told from the beginnings of our civilization. Egyptian, Babylonian, and Mayan timelines as they converge to our present day. A history presented with a core Christian perspective from these related histories.

Bad actions work , if you do them , don't tell.

Today we have unprecedented access to information. With this access you can see a reality that lies between the lines of history a reality that was known only to those that participated, and were loyal to those who knew. Secrets are power. The fact is if I can conceal the truth from you I have an advantage, so don't tell.

How do we know the truth. One person saying something is not generally accepted as the truth. We believe the truth is what a conscience of people say is the truth. But even a large group of people believing a thing is truth, will not know the truth if the evidence they see has been doctored.

This is almost obvious, yet we don't see it. Its like the reality within the reality.

A reality that points to the quality we had hoped of humanity falling short of expectation. A reality we should have known well. A reality that says humans are greedy as well as clever and if an advantage can be taken it will be taken.

Christ came to set the poor and disadvantaged free. In particular he came to set Jewish people free. Free from what? What truth would set them free that did they not already know?

He gives us a road map for liberation. He knows more about his religion than the Pharisees. This knowledge that he gives to the poor puts him in danger.  They kill him... why ?

Who are the Pharisees who are these bad guys? Are they still here today, are they still trying to kill Christ.

What is told to us by God, Jesus Christ, is about truth and enslavement. A guide to freedom, both spiritually and socially.

The truth is that slavery and subjugation has been the norm in our history. Today it exists as always and uses the same means as before... information, and knowledge. Since the time of the Pharaohs what you told your slaves is what made them your slaves. You implanted the appropriate reality in them through your priests and then they would till the soil for you, they would fight for you.

The Pharisees were those enforcers of the false reality, those that killed Jesus Christ for telling the truth

Plato gives and excellent description of this in his allegory of the cave. This is the first step to understanding this story. Plato demonstrates that we understood 2500 years ago that an illusion of reality could be instilled in others.

Its nice to be the Pharaoh, Caesar, or the King of England. To be one of these people you must always keep hold of power. Its a very private society and difficult to get into. The more ruthless the better, the more clandestine the better.

Yes, there are good people but its just not the way to keep power. The fact is that acting bad works, especially at the top where you are the authority. Especially if you can appear so good.

Power can provide you with a very special life, and its hard to want relinquish this life.

Historically power was first measured in cattle and then human. By this I mean that we first measured power with how much cattle a man had, and later it was how many slaves he had. Like a Pharaohs' slaves...The Pharaoh had entire tribes enslaved. Caesar had entire civilizations under his dominion.

As long as power is desirable and it can be measured in people's labor, then those in power will always try to remain in power and will do so by subjugating people... as many as possible. This is why we have war.

This is what Jesus Christ was telling us, "its easier to put a camel through the eye of a needle than it is to put a rich man in heaven."

Today it works much the same way. We don't notice it because of centuries of conditioning... this is why ordinary people were not permitted to read, books were burnt, religions were occult, the Holy Roman Empire would kill you if you believed anything they did not describe to you. This is why you should not eat of the tree of knowledge. This is why the truth will set you free.

In 325 at the the Council of Nicaea, or the first Ecumenical Council, a central universal church is established by the Roman Emperor Constantine.

Constantine won the war and now controlled all of the Roman empire. In his empire there was trouble with the Christian and Jewish religions. Christianity had spread from Egypt throughout the empire. Unlike all other religions the word of Christ was open to all, for the slaves, the poor, and women.

Constantine as Emperor was Pontifex Maximus, the head of the pagan priesthood. At age 40 he declares himself Christian, he accepts the Christian God. As a pagan priest he has just accepted the Christian God, the Jewish God into the circle of Gods that was Rome.

He was an expert in power and ruling. He was never really a Christian, he was not even really a Roman, he was from Serbia. He was a bad man, killed his son as well as his wife. Such a bad man in fact that his own pagan priests would not forgive him. He is who gave you the bible you have today.

But Constantine and the bible we have today is just one aspect of a history where those in power, those who rule manipulate what a population believes.

All this functions just about the same way it did in Egypt 3000 years ago. The Pharaoh is the head of the priest hood and the army. Priests give the religion to the people and the military keeps things that way. People with less knowledge are managed by people with greater knowledge, knowledge is power. To remain in power, if at all possible, it serves very well to control what your subjects know and believe.

You use priests to tell people what to believe. You keep knowledge occult. Its like the story of Santa Clause only for grownup's and not for all grownup's. The selected, are those who have and those that have not still believe in Santa Clause .

The printing press is invented in 1439.... and we have books for people to read. For once, the bible, the only history book most people had heard of is translated and printed for the first time. Knowledge begins to escape the grip of those who guarded it. This is the event that later gives us Martin Luther, its now October 31, 1517, and the beginning of the Protestant reformation.

The reformation is what in turn causes the inquisition. Troubled times for those who rule. With books being printed, information comes to the people and they begin to understand more who they are and what is going on. The priests find it difficult to implant belief in their subjects. When people are reading and writing, exchanging ideas and defining the truth for themselves the old system must break down and a new one must be put in place.

After the reformation more and more people are able to read information for themselves and to distinguish truth for themselves. A new era of the enlightenment comes about... revolutionary ideas develop. We have Isaac Newton, 1643-1727,Rousseau, 1712 – 1778, Franklin 1706-1790, Jefferson 1743-1826  and the birth of the revolution belief, of freedom and our United States.

The old structure is crumbling under the force of this revolution. Caesar is in trouble, Kings, Czars, and Kaisers are running for their lives.  Power is changing hands.

With the priests loosing the ability to control beliefs, the ruling class scramble for a new tool to use to control its subjects.

The media steps up to the plate. The tool that gave us freedom becomes the press, a way to control belief once again.

Today there is one greater tool, greater than the pen, greater than the book, and greater than television, ... its the internet. The tool with which the truth may finally make us free.

The system used by the original bad boy, the Pharaoh has never really failed, it remains in place to this day. Strangely it works only because we are kept in the dark.

They tell servants not to question, and not to eat of the tree of knowledge.

Who do you see eating of the tree of knowledge?   Those in power

What will set you free?  The truth

Why is this this way?

It's natural that this be this way... its the way we animals behave. This is the nature of evolution, an organism with strong characteristics will do better than one that is disadvantaged. To change nature would require something super-natural. Now enter Jesus Christ... this is the supernatural requirement. This is the real message of Jesus Christ, with love and truth he describes to get out of this situation we are in.

As long as power can be measured in people's labor this will always be so. As long as we do not search for the truth, protect the truth, and teach the truth, we will always be slaves. Power will always subjugate people.

Worse of all is that the bad guys will always gravitate to power. Once in a while there is a good guy, but the economics of power are such that the bad guy always wins. This is rooted in evolution, and we have a duty to our God, to our species to rise above ourselves, to stop behaving as animals, and be as Christ would tell you... be more than him.

Information can and has been manipulated.

A friend and I had an expression we would say to each other, " Truth above all else and then courage and honor."

These words are not the way things really work.

We all have understood that history is written by the victor, why, why would you think that religion would not also be written by the same people?

Not only written, but, for years enforced.

Enforced by war and rebellion and countless suffering. It goes on today and by my estimation should stop.

God a Delusion ?

It is possible that God is a delusion, but for that matter our perception of reality may be a delusion as well. Do you grasp relativity or quantum mechanics? How close can we come to a secular philosophical and physical approach to understanding existence. Even if you can come up with a secular explanation for existence you can not ignore that many of us find within us a separate voice that speaks to us a voice we call God. Yes, you may say that is madness to believe God is talking to you, but can you not also reasonably say it is more the norm than the exception and if its the norm its part of the nature of our existence to hear and believe in God.

To me religion, has been a false tale, yet God is not false. Religion was told to us primarily by the very people that ruled us. None the less this tale has at its core the essence of that which is love, truth and beauty. It has the archetypal lessons of our existence. The word of God.

Because within this religion there is a reality, the word of God that we know in our soul, are in the words of the prophets and Jesus Christ.

God needs your help

Just yesterday I told a friend that God needs help, he said ''God does not need your help ''. The facts appear to show otherwise. If we believe in a good God, the God told of by Jesus Christ, then can we look at us and truly say that God does not need your help?

Its is apparent when you look more closely at the Christian religion, and then look at reality and history, that God needs help in order for our future to be kinder and more loving.

God always needed help. The meek don't inherit the earth unless we help.

Christ came to tell us he needed our help, he came to tell us to act. To admit sin, and move on and do the right thing.

Clearly within the message of Jesus Christ there is the dualism of Jesus against the Satan. As Christians we also oppose Satan. As humans we understand good and evil, and we value good behavior, yet we act contrary to what be believe. There is clearly a force that moves us to do wrong, and we are intuitively aware of it.

From Jesus Christ last words '' God why have you forsaken me'', is this not a plea for help. Look carefully at the humanity we have been over our history and you will see that we have neglected to act in a Christian manner.

God not only asks of us but commands of us. To follow the truth, love, and compassion yet we have followed greed, power, and submission of our fellow man.

To ask God for guidance and fortitude, fine, but through your actions take an active role in making good works.

Why have we not lived as Christians for 2000 years.

Because religion was always occult, the truth was not for everyone. For Egypt and for Rome knowledge was power, it was control. Only the select initiated were told the truth.

Christ came to tell us the truth, and for 2000 years it has been cleverly hidden, carefully controlled.

In this world there are other competing beliefs that are contrary to the Christian message. These beliefs work better for the purpose of obtaining power. How well do you know roman religion? How well do you understand Nietzsche. We come from a western world dominated by Rome, dominated by the force of power, will to power,... not will to charity, or brotherly love.

If I cheat, murder, lie, hide... etc... and you don't know I'm doing this...  I will win.

Christianity was always a Roman religion. It was picked up by the emperor Titus Flavius and promptly incorporated in to the Civil Religion of the time.

Christianity was prominently absorbed by the Universal Church of Rome in order to rule its people. It was the institution of Kings, Caesar, Kaisers, and Czars. It was the task of the priests to feed the proper information in order to create the proper belief in the subjects of the kingdom.

No one wanted us to really be Christian, that would have destroyed the kingdom and its subjects, the meek would have ruled the world. The church which is so important to Christian belief, that it became the very tool of anyone that wanted to control it. The Church would create a mix of those saints that would promote the ideology of Christ and those that would use it for the power it could control. The word of God would corrupt and enforce the will of those in power.

It was only after the reformation that we began to see church as falsely using the word of God. Pilgrims were the first to break out of that false world and began to build a new world. This protestant movement, this new world is the soul of the American revolution.

Our Inner God

Aristotle explains the idea that intuition is what lies beneath  knowing and understanding. That there is a first knowledge that forms our understanding of what comes from the senses.

Similar concepts are brought to us by Carl Jung's archetypes.  Jung described: archetypal events: birth, death, separation from parents, initiation, marriage, the union of opposites etc., archetypal figures such as, mother, father, child, God. trickster, hero, wise old man etc. and archetypal motifs like the Apocalypse, the Deluge, the Creation, etc. These are common understanding we all have... a common intuition. A knowing we are born with that comes prior to our conscious self.

St Augustine calls this illumination. It is an inner  knowledge, that makes us aware of or see the truth. The power that reveals the truth to us, Augustine says that is  Christ as the Teacher operating within us. Our understanding testifies to God’s presence in the world, since the mind is illuminated with knowledge by the inner Teacher.

It is understood that we have an underling reality that motivates us .. and this is what religion's employ to attract us. The spiritual side of ourselves that searches to find and know God.

Within each of us, as in all life, there is a connectivity with the past that connects us into the future. An intuition that comes from this past and drives our vision to see the present and speculate a future. Our hopes.

We see ourselves in time with past done and gone... we are in the present... and the future is yet to come.

Physically it turns out quite differently, we are connected to the past and future.

We are connected to what is known as the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end of time, which in the bible is God.

editing and correcting

If we look at humanity as a physical system it would resemble the complex mathematical models of chaos where order comes from chaotic events. Then one could assume that life behaves just as fractals. There would be a next level of of order. That this next level of order would also have intuition. We as humans are one thing alone and another when we are society. Would we not have a social intuition?

Our collective social existence would have a nature that is similar to cognition within it. That our very existence is intentional, and that within the intention there is a collective understanding. It is this intuition or soul of this collective understanding that has been corrupted by this situation.

Our spirituality is truly how we function within this existence. Our spiritual beliefs are our only true guide through what appears to us to be a  physical world, yet, our spiritual beliefs are told to us and many times we can not question them.

The importance of spirituality has not gone unnoticed. By manipulating belief of historical events you manipulate the reality and spirituality of a people.

You can handle then in the same manner as you handle sheep or dogs, you can make them loyal to you, you can make people confess to you, you can make them pay you tribute, you can make them go to war for you, you can enslave them.

Can you see how important truth and knowledge of ourselves our past, our religion, and our history is. You can see this in who we are for what we think we are becomes our reality. This knowledge is what aligns' us with our intuition and forms our reality. Truth, this is what will make for a better existence. Truth is what will set you free.

This approach to these historical events is based on this intuition, in the light of historical events and human nature. Some would say facts would be more important and they are. Factual events can be or can not be.  History is a bit of a blur and intuition can be more true in these waters. Please correct me if my facts and assumptions are empirically wrong.

As many historical facts have been been fabricated, we are left with our intuition in order to more truly understand our past and judge the validity of events.

Why not let the truth be the rule, allow reason, love and charity to be the motivation of beliefs.

If we could have had freedom to choose then possibly the true expression of God would have been more clear. If governments and church had not always attempted to control our history and beliefs, we as a society may have found our way to a kinder expression of society. But the past is past and was actually exactly as it should have been, what comes next hopefully will be a more truthful reality.

OK What is this lie? What is the truth?

God only knows what the truth is... but look into following details of the Bible, history and human nature and draw your own conclusions.

Egypt...

The head of the genome project would tell you came from Africa some 100 thousand years ago and migrated east into the Tigris Euphrates valley, and east onto China and the Americas.  Civilization began in earnest some 7000 years ago. Egypt, was ruled by a Pharaoh, a God king, and his priests. There were those who ruled and others that were slaves. Information was restricted, the ruling class quickly learned that by dominating other people they would work for you, they would "till the soil".

Slaves were ruled by giving them the appropriate belief or religion, The Pharaoh was embellished with supernatural stories. People believed the stories. Freedom was a non existent concept, and truth was something you implanted in in those that worked.  If freedom meant to be away from civilization, back then it generally meant starvation. Only nomadic herders could exist outside of civilizations dominated by a ruling class.

The story of genesis...

This story is generally accepted to have been written by Moses. The Genesis line of creation is identical to that of the Egyptian story of creation. For the Jews the story has a twist, God first creates man and woman in his image and is done on the seventh day. Then as an afterthought notices he has no one to till the earth and do the work and then creates Adam and Eave. He tells his worker human not to eat of the tree of knowledge, for they will surely die.

There have been found similarities in ancient Egyptian texts and the bible we have today.

The Exodus

There is no archeological evidence of the Civilization in Canaan till app 1500 bc, a land populated by herding tribes. In about 1500 BC the Pharaoh Amenhotep lV, attempted to make the Egyptian religion a monotheistic religion.

Looking at a map you would notice that the promised land, or Canaan is situated along side of Egypt and there is no sea, this making this land the first line of defense for Egypt against the Philistines, Babylonians, or all the other civilizations of the east.

If we look onto humanity as we do the complex mathematical models of chaos where order comes from chaotic events. Then one could assume that just as fractals, there would be a next level of intuition within us... a social intuition. Rather that our collective social exhistance has a natuer thati si simolar to knowing in it. That our very exhistance is intentional, and that within the intention there a collective understanding.

This approach to these historical events is based on intuition. Some would say facts would be more important, and I ask you to please set any incorrect or. I would say that most of the historical facts we and have been given have been fabricated. Therefore we are left with our intuition in order to more truly understand our past. Judge the validity of the events

Does the story begin with Moses? Is this history understood if we have have little understanding of who and when was Moses. Is what is told us a simplification designed simply to govern us through our need for understanding.

Why not let the truth be your savior, allow reason, love and charity to be the motivation of existance

The basic story says that he did exist, that he took the Jews out of Egypt. That these twelve tribes of Abraham settled in Cainan.

FROM THE TIME ALEXANDER TAKES ISAREL THE JEWISH PEOPLE HAVE PEACE AFTER AN ENTIRE HISTORY OF WAR AND DEPORTATION FIR THE NEXT 300 YEARS THEY WORK WITHIN THE EMPIRE OF THE GREEKS AND BECOME COMPLETLY HELINISED.  THEY CONTINUE TO WORK WITH THE GREEKS AND WHEN THE ROMANS TAKE THE EMPIRES OF THE GREEKS THEY FEEL ONCE AGAIN IN PERIL. THE UNION OF CEASER WITH CLEOPATRA IS THE ONLY HOPE FOR A FREE PEOPLE.

THE DEATH OF CEASAR  AND THEN THE DEATH OF HIS SON CEASEARIO THAT IS TO BE BOTH PHARO AND CEASER IS A DISASTER FOR WITHOUT THE INFLUENCE THEY HAVE WITH EGYPT THEY WILL ONEC AGAIN BE DISINFRANCHISED.

The term "Hellenistic Judaism" makes sense, from the time of Alexander to the time of Christ, Judaism and Canaan was Hellenistic. There are significant distinctions in the manner in which Hellenism influenced factions within the Jewish world of that time. Adoption of Greek language, dress and sciences as well as total  incorporation of Greek philosophy and culture, to the point of assimilation the understanding of Judaism into a Hellenic idiom.

The birthplace of Saint Paul is Tarsus that was capital of the province of Cilicia, scene of the romance between Mark Antony and Cleopatra.
Born under the name Saul, "an Israelite of the tribe of Benjamin, circumcised on the eighth day" (Philippians 3:5). However, Paul's own letters never mention this as his birthplace, nor is the name "Saul" alluded to. Acts records that Paul was a Roman citizen — a privilege he used a number of times in his defence, appealing against convictions in Judaea to Rome (Acts 22:25 and Acts 27–28).

He described himself as a Pharisee (Philippians 3:5). He supported himself during his travels and while preaching — a fact he alludes to a number of times (e.g., 1 Cor. 9:13-15). According to Acts 18:3 he worked as a tentmaker

The use of Egypt's immense land rents to finance the Empire's operations resulted from Augustus' conquest of Egypt and the shift to a Roman form of government.[197] As it was effectively considered Augustus' private property rather than a province of the Empire, it became part of each succeeding emperor's patrimonium.[198] Instead of a legate or proconsul, Augustus installed a prefect from the equestrian class to administer Egypt and maintain its lucrative seaports; this position became the highest political achievement for any equestrian besides becoming Prefect of the Praetorian Guard.[199] The highly productive agricultural land of Egypt yielded enormous revenues that were available to Augustus and his successors to pay for public works and military expeditions,[197] as well as bread and circuses for the population of Rome.

Messiah, The anointed one

from wikipedia

In the Hebrew Bible, the High Priest and the king are each sometimes called "the anointed" (Leviticus 4:3-5, 4:16; 6:20; Psalm 132:10). Prophets were also anointed (1 Kings 19:16; 1 Chronicles 16:22; Psalm 105:15).

Anointing a king was equivalent to crowning him; in fact, in Israel a crown was not required (1 Samuel 16:13; 2 Samuel 2:4, etc.). Thus David was anointed as king by the prophet Samuel:

Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.—1 Samuel 16:13.

The Messiah

Distinct from the Jewish view, Christians believe the "anointed" one referred to in various biblical verses such as Psalm 2:2 and Daniel 9:25-26 is the promised Messiah. According to the Jewish Bible, whenever someone was anointed with the specific holy anointing oil formula and ceremony described in Exodus 30:22-25, the Spirit of God came upon this person, to qualify him or her for a God-given task. Understanding that Jesus was never anointed in this way, Christians take a spiritual reading of anointed, and believe that Jesus was "anointed" with the Holy Spirit directly. According to the New Testament, Jesus of Nazareth is this Anointed One, the Messiah (John 1:41; Acts 9:22; 17:2-3; 18:5, 18:28), and the Gospels state that he was physically "anointed" (although not in the fashion described in Exodus) by an anonymous figure who is interpreted by some as Mary Magdalene. The word Christ which is now used as though it were a surname is actually a title derived from the Greek Christos roughly meaning 'anointed' (creamy or greased would be more cognate as translations).

[edit] Hospitality

Anointing was also an act of hospitality, as Jesus was anointed in the house of the Pharisee (Luke 7:38-46).

Civil Religion

The first government to have an identifiable civil religion was the Roman Empire, whose first Emperor Augustus officially attempted to revive the dutiful practice of Classical paganism. Greek and Roman religion were essentially local in character; the Roman Empire attempted to unite its disparate territories by inculcating an ideal of Roman piety, and by a syncretistic identifying of the gods of conquered territories with the Greek and Roman pantheon. In this campaign, Augustus erected monuments such as the Ara Pacis, the Altar of Peace, showing the Emperor and his family worshiping the gods. He also encouraged the publication of works such as Virgil's Æneid, which depicted "pious Æneas", the legendary ancestor of Rome, as a role model for Roman religiosity. Roman historians such as Livy told tales of early Romans as morally improving stories of military prowess and civic virtue. The Roman civil religion later became centered on the person of the Emperor through the imperial cult, the worship of the genius of the Emperor.

The phrase "civil religion" was first discussed extensively by Jean-Jacques Rousseau in The Social Contract. Rousseau defined "civil religion" as a group of religious beliefs he believed to be universal, and which he believed governments had a right to uphold and maintain: belief in a deity, belief in an afterlife in which virtue is rewarded and vice punished; and belief in religious tolerance. Beyond that, Rousseau affirmed that individuals' religious opinions should be beyond the reach of governments.

In the 1960s and 1970s, scholars such as Robert N. Bellah and Martin E. Marty studied civil religion as a cultural phenomenon, attempting to identify the actual tenets of civil religion in the United States of America, or to study civil religion as a phenomenon of cultural anthropology. Within this U.S. context, Marty wrote that Americans approved of "religion in general" without being particularly concerned about the content of that faith, and attempted to distinguish "priestly" and "prophetic" roles within the practice of American civil religion, which he preferred to call the public theology.[citation needed] In "Civil Religion in America," a 1967 essay, Bellah wrote that civil religion in its priestly sense is "an institutionalized collection of sacred beliefs about the American nation." Bellah describes the prophetic role of civil religion as challenging "national self-worship" and calling for "the subordination of the nation to ethical principles that transcend it in terms of which it should be judged."[citation needed] Bellah identified the American Revolution, the Civil War, and the Civil Rights Movement as three decisive historical events that impacted the content and imagery of civil religion in the United States.

Caesarion

This from   Mestrius Plutarchus (Greek: Πλούταρχος; c. 46 AD - 120 AD)   http://penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer/E/Roman/Texts/Plutarch/Lives/Antony*.html#82

81 As for the children of Antony, Antyllus, his son by Fulvia, was betrayed by Theodorus his tutor and put to death; and after the soldiers had cut off his head, his tutor took away the exceeding precious stone which the boy wore about his neck and sewed it into his own girdle; and though he denied the deed, he was convicted of it and crucified. 2 Cleopatra's children, together with their attendants, were kept under guard and had generous treatment. p321But Caesarion, who was said to be Cleopatra's son by Julius Caesar, was sent by his mother, with much treasure, into India, by way of Ethiopia. There Rhodon, another tutor like Theodorus, persuaded him to go back, on the ground that Caesar invited him to take the kingdom. But while Caesar was deliberating on the matter, we are told that Areius said:—

"Not a good thing were a Caesar too many."

82 As for Caesarion, then, he was afterwards put to death by Caesar,— after the death of Cleopatra; but as for Antony, though many generals and kings asked for his body that they might give it burial, Caesar would not take it away from Cleopatra, and it was buried by her hands in sumptuous and royal fashion, such things being granted her for the purpose as she desired. But in consequence of so much grief as well as pain (for her breasts were wounded and inflamed by the blows she gave them) a fever assailed her, and she welcomed it as an excuse for abstaining from food and so releasing herself from life without hindrance. 2 Moreover, there was a physician in her company of intimates, Olympus, to whom she told the truth, and she had his counsel and assistance in compassing her death, as Olympus himself testifies in a history of these events which he published. But Caesar was suspicious, and plied her with threats and fears regarding her children, by which she was laid low, as by engines of war, and surrendered her body for such care and nourishment as was desired.

I contend that the boy escaped that he whent through the very territories that Antony and Cleopatra had conquered in the previous years.  That Marc Anthony (Octavious) had no choice but to say that the boy was returend and that he killed him. That her  perseued a campainge into Siria in search of the traveling  Ceasarion party. That early and there is no evedence of the "murder of the inossensts" , that this story reflets the murder of all young men in Egypt by Caliglula

Only a few years before Cleopatra had traveled to Tarsus to meet and marry Marc Anthony.  Through the same Siria  that late Octavius would campainging  through after the death of  Anthony and Cleopatra.

At the time of  Christ the true son of god would be not only Horis which was the title of "Ptolemy Ceaser" but also the son of Julius Ceasar who also had been called God. It is my belief that the Jews had shared governing with the Greek Ptolemy Dynasty since its inception 300 years earlier. That they saw the marriage of Anthony and Cleopatra  and the son they now raised of the dead Julius Ceasar as the only hope for this continued satbility of govenment in the reagion.

After all the largest  Jewish population at the time was in Alexandria. A city that was equally divided between Jewish, Eqyptinan, and Pagan religious beliefs.  The Jewish people themselves had become greatly Hellinised by this time. I believe that by the time of the first Jewish revolt 66AD  it had been more than clear that the new administration that came from Rome was not one that favored the Jewish people.

That prior and under Julius Ceasar, Israel was allowed to be a client state under the rule of local kings. That the first orders of the new administration of Agustus (octavius) Ceaser was to remove the kings and take direct control of the state
