  • LIVED IN DISTRICT 4, DOUGLAS COUNTY, FOR 38 YEARS.
  • Retired as Douglas County Tax Commissioner in 2008 after 28 years.
  • Served as President, Vice President, and Second Vice President of the Georgia Association of Tax Officials (GATO).
  • Served as Chair of Modernization Committee several years for GATO.
  • Served as President and Vice President of the Tax Commissioners Technology Association (TCtech).
  • Served on Steering Committee with State officials to implement the state-wide tag system.
  • Served on Steering Committee with state and county officials to implement on-line emission testing.
  • Served on Technology Board for Douglas County Courthouse.
  • Founder and leader of a Celebrate Recovery (program for hurts, habits, and hang-ups) for over 5 years at Ephesus Baptist Church.
  • Served 10 years on Board of Community Character Coalition of Douglas County & currently serves as Chair of that Board.
  • Currently serving on the S.H.A.R.E. House Board.
  • Member at Ephesus Baptist Church for 26 years.
  • Married to Bob Guider; 4 children, 5 grand-children.
